Futures is seeking a highly experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our team. This exciting opportunity will enable you to develop and implement best practices in health and safety within our national manufacturing business.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and guidelines. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Health and Safety Management system in accordance with OHSAS 18001 standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Health and Safety Policy Implementation: Develop and maintain the company's Health and Safety Policy, ensuring its effective implementation across the business.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all operations comply with Company Health and Safety Management systems at all times, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing policies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Audit and Risk Assessment: Conduct various levels of audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement recommendations within agreed timescales.
- New Legislation Review: Monitor and review new and upcoming health and safety legislations, ensuring our business remains compliant.
- Safe Plant and Machinery Movement: Ensure safe plant and machinery movement, including emergency procedures such as safety signs, first aid, and protective clothing.
- iOSH (or equivalent) certification
- NEBOSH qualification
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include professional development opportunities and a competitive salary package.
