We are seeking an experienced Site Manager Mechanical Projects to join our team at LJB & Co.


Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in mechanical construction management within the construction industry.


The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including planning, coordinating, and supervising mechanical construction activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate detailed project plans for mechanical construction activities, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical construction activities with overall project plans.
  • Manage resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution within budget constraints.
  • Oversee mechanical construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts and address issues to prevent or eliminate any impact on project development.
  • Review and verify that all mechanical installations meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality.


Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical construction management within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing mechanical construction projects from design to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
