Graduate Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Colindale, Barnet. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students across various year groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students who require extra help.
  • Teach small groups independently, using effective strategies to engage students and promote learning.
  • Work one-to-one with students, implementing the school's behavior policies to manage challenging situations and maintain a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree and a strong GCSE and A-Level record.
  • Be available for placements from September 2024 to July 2025, with potential for extensions or permanent contracts.
  • Join a friendly, supportive, and collaborative school community.
