At Referment, we are partnering with a regulated digital asset trading and technology firm to fill the role of Quantitative Researcher.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our clients' trading strategies by developing data-driven models, optimizing execution algorithms, and contributing to market-making efforts. Working closely with the Trading and HFT teams, they will have a direct impact on the firm's trading performance in the rapidly evolving digital asset space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design quantitative models to improve trading strategies and risk management.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract insights that inform trading strategies.
  • Fine-tune execution algorithms to reduce slippage and improve liquidity.
  • Ensure trading strategies perform well in live environments through backtesting.
  • Redefine models in response to market conditions in collaboration with traders.
  • Identify innovative strategies and techniques for digital asset markets.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Requirements

  • A strong academic background in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, physics, computer science).
  • Experience in quantitative research or analysis.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, C++, or Java).
