We Are Footprint, a well-established specialist in Civil Engineering and subcontracting, is seeking an experienced Construction Management Specialist to join our team in Chester and the North Wales area.

As a Construction Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing commercial management on projects, delivering tender margin-plus with effective cost and value management. You will manage NEC, JCT, and Planned Maintenance contracts for key framework clients, and be responsible for all commercial and contractual matters on multiple projects.

You will assist our Estimating and Operations teams with developing bid submissions, forecasting, and cost/value reporting. Additionally, you will identify and tender suppliers/sub-contractors, procure resources to meet programme and tender, and manage the supply chain to ensure programme is maintained and buying opportunities are maximised.

Key Requirements
  • A higher-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, such as HNC or Degree
  • At least 3+ years of commercial experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Functional/technical skills associated with the field of Quantity Surveying
  • Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
  • Cost management and change management experience
  • A team player with problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions that enhance organisational effectiveness
  • A full UK driving licence
