We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paraplanning Professional to join our team at Jenson Fisher Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our financial planning team, you will provide expert support to our Financial Advisers, helping them to develop and maintain detailed financial plans for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Planning Support: Assist Financial Advisers in managing clients' planning needs and solutions, including assessing and researching options and solutions.
  • Client Communication: Be an additional point of contact when the Advisers are not available and develop relationships of trust with the clients, manage all client-related enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Financial Reporting: Draft and present detailed financial reports, including suitability letters, transfer recommendations, and product illustrations.
  • Administrative Support: Handle other administrative duties promptly, including letters, new client take-on forms, preparation of advisory correspondence / annual reviews and assisting with proposal preparation.
  • Insurance and Investment Support: Deal with insurance / investment companies, as required, to obtain client policy information or new illustrations and product information.
  • Compliance and Training: Check that new business and client files / records are compliant and in line with company procedures, and support the training and development of other paraplanners, sharing expertise and leading training sessions as required.
  • Investment and Pension Support: Act as an Investment Specialist or Pension Specialist, providing advanced technical support and insights in these areas.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3+ years post qualified relevant experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong all round technical knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products, pension transfers and taxation and client suitability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance related to financial advice.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management abilities and proficiency at multitasking.
  • Education: A University degree or equivalent combination of education/experience, and Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or CISI Investment Advice Diploma.
