About the Job

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic and Fitter to join our team at Roberts Garage in Springfield. As a key member of our Auto Centre, you will be responsible for carrying out routine checks on vehicles, diagnosing and repairing any issues, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

About the Role

You will be working closely with our team of experienced technicians to ensure all work is completed to a high standard, and that our customers receive excellent service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company like Peregrine Retail Limited.

Key Responsibilities
  • To undertake all functions provided by the Auto Centres, including receiving and unloading goods delivered to the premises.
  • To carry out work as and when required on customers' vehicles, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • To regularly check the operation of equipment and report any malfunctions to management.
  • To maintain a clean and tidy workshop area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
