Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing customer integrations and setting the standards for integration processes as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software implementation consultants to define and verify Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process specifications.
  • Test and validate customer data endpoints in partnership with customer IT teams to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Implement, test, and deploy Azure Data Factory pipeline definitions in customer environments using version control.
  • Work closely with the Site Reliability Engineering team to ensure the solutions you develop are robust, reliable, and easily observable.
  • Partner with the Engineering teams to guarantee end-to-end data integration capabilities.
  • Provide support during the transition to production systems, including outside normal working hours when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Azure Data Factory or similar cloud ETL technology, with a track record of building transparent, easy-to-maintain pipelines.
  • Proven experience in a Data Engineering role, with expertise in developing and maintaining data integrations across various external systems.
  • Strong understanding of the ETL process and its applications.
  • Comfortable in a client-facing role, with excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in working with complex referential data, REST APIs, SQL databases, and other data sources.
  • A collaborative team player with experience working across departments.
  • Detail-oriented, with a knack for breaking down complex problems into manageable steps.
