Emergency Department Leadership Position

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within our emergency department. As a Band 7 Unit Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating a motivated and dedicated nursing team to deliver high-quality, effective, and safe care in a well-led service.
Key responsibilities include developing your scope of practice within local Trust guidelines and policies, ensuring the day-to-day management of the department meets our goals, and developing good organisational and planning skills.

Qualifications:
Essential
- Registered Nurse
- Educated to diploma level with evidence of level 3 study
Desirable
- Management and Leadership Qualification
- Level 7 Qualification
Experience:
Essential
- Experience at Band 6 level
- Line Management experience
- Evidence of good organisational and planning skills
- Recent evidence of continuing professional and personal development
- Implementation of audit/research recommendations
- Experience of change management
- Knowledge of local and national issues affecting Nursing and Midwifery (NSF's, NICE, NMC)
- Aware of budgetary control
Desirable
- Teaching or lecturing internal/external venues
- Emergency Nurse Practitioner
