Overview

Hoop Social Work is a leading agency providing temporary and permanent social work positions to various local authorities across South Wales. As a trusted partner, we have established strong relationships with our clients, ensuring that we meet their recruitment needs effectively.

We are currently seeking experienced Childrens Social Workers to join our long-term child protection teams in South Wales. As a member of our team, you will work closely with local authorities to provide safeguarding support to children and families in need.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families, identifying areas for improvement and implementing relevant interventions.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans in collaboration with other professionals.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families, promoting resilience and well-being.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker.
  • A relevant Social Work Qualification.
  • Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England.
  • Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS.
  • 3 Years of referencing.
  • Driving license with access to a car.
