Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Verto People. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing high-pressure gas and hydrogen systems, performing testing and PLC programming, and conducting client-side Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) across various industries including renewables, defence, and oil & gas throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission high-pressure engineering equipment.
  • Perform thorough testing, PLC programming, and leak checks on hydrogen systems.
  • Provide on-site servicing and repair of customer equipment, ensuring high-pressure gas systems are operational and meet client requirements.
  • Identify and provide customers with improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of high-pressure gas and hydrogen products and services.
  • Conduct client-side Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Install various natural gas and hydrogen systems into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
  • Deliver training activities for customers on high-pressure equipment use and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Commissioning Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electronic Technician, Electronic Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Electrical Service Technician, or similar with PLC programming knowledge.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, ideally with Siemens TIA Portal or similar.
  • Experience working in hazardous areas and familiarity with safety protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of high-pressure gas compression systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings.
  • Competent on various electronic Control Systems such as PLC controls, automation software, or similar related to high-pressure technical engineering systems.
