Job Title: Domestic Gas and Repairs Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Domestic Gas and Repairs Engineer to join our team at BSW Heating Limited. As a key member of our domestic repair teams, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and servicing of domestic gas boilers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and manage potential hazards.
  2. Perform gas tightness testing and inspection of flues and chimney systems to ensure safe operation.
  3. Carry out servicing and maintenance of gas appliances, ensuring correct combustion and taking necessary action to adjust or make safe the appliance.
  4. Follow approved servicing and fault-finding methods using the correct tools and equipment to achieve safe and efficient appliance operation.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a repair engineer.
  2. Hold CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 certifications.
  3. Positive attitude to work and excellent customer service skills.
  4. Thorough and up-to-date gas safety knowledge and qualifications.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary of £46,000 - £55,000 + overtime and call out, depending on experience.

Full-time position with expected hours of Monday – Friday.
