We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Rhondda Children's Home. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for our young people with emotional, behavioural difficulties, mild learning disabilities, and autism.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Support and care for our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
* Supervise and manage a small staff team, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to deliver high-quality care
* Develop and implement care plans, working closely with the young people, their families, and other professionals
* Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with the management team to achieve the home's goals and objectives
**Requirements:**
* A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential for this role
* Experience of team leadership and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, staff, and external partners
