Senior Project Manager for Enabling Works

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead the Enabling Works Programme for our NHS client. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful planning and delivery of this critical project.
Main Responsibilities- Provide construction and commercial leadership for the Enabling Works Programme, ensuring alignment with project goals and NHS sustainability targets.
- Oversee the management of project budgets, contracts, and procurement processes, ensuring best value for money and compliance with government frameworks.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, setting out key milestones, dependencies, and responsibilities, and facilitate the internal handover process post-construction.
- Professional knowledge acquired through degree, leadership/management qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Experience of business case development for large or complex capital projects, including clinical strategy, workforce, IT, and estates.
- Experience of managing and dealing with large construction and legal contracts, as well as negotiating with private companies.
- Significant experience within the Healthcare sector at senior manager level, including responsibility for strategic projects and programmes of change.
- Considerable project management experience of large capital schemes in the healthcare sector.
- Generous annual leave entitlement, starting at 27 days and increasing to 29 days after five years of service and 33 days after 10 years of service, in addition to national Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff).
