About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team at Inhealth Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality MRI scans to support the healthcare needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI scans to best practice standards, adhering to relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Provide excellent patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action to maintain optimal performance.
  • Respect and work within patients' and service users' customs, values, and spiritual beliefs.
  • Support patient bookings and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information systems.
  • Complete competency assessments and adhere to all operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Share knowledge and clinical experience with the wider team to support each other's growth and development.
Requirements
  • BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership of an appropriate professional body and holds a valid registration (HCPC).
  • Good understanding of fundamental MRI physics and different scanning techniques and sequences.
  • Proven knowledge of the requirements of a radiographer's role regarding the care of patients, their careers, and other colleagues.
  • High level of professionalism and technical standard of work.
  • Aptitude towards improving quality.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles, and GDPR.
  • Flexible approach to work and able to work across 7 days (Mon-Sun).
  • Strong team player attitude, being supportive, caring, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Ability to be calm when working under pressure and in a busy environment.
  • Positive attitude, taking pride in their work, and is passionate about the service they provide.
  • Passion for developing their career in radiography and working towards new milestones.
Desirable Experience
  • Working with MRI equipment in either a hospital or mobile setting.
  • Basic and routine MRI examinations, with the ambition to learn more complex scans.
  • Different courses such as infection control training, manual handling, basic life support.
  • Scanning with contrast, or be enthusiastic to learn.
  • Health and safety policies and procedures with imaging equipment.
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary team.
