About the Role
Tonbridge School is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Excellence Leader to join its English Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English across the 13-18 age range, as well as contributing to the wider life of the department and school.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To teach English at all levels, including GCSE and A-level, and to contribute to the development of curriculum content.
  • To lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence and a passion for teaching.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent results and to support the department's high profile within the school.
  • To take part in the recruitment and training of new staff, and to contribute to the school's efforts to widen access.
