Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 Recovery Driver to join our team at Manchetts. As a key member of our recovery team, you will be responsible for safely recovering vehicles from the roadside and transporting them to a final destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend breakdowns and recover vehicles in a professional and safe manner
  • Work directly with our 24-hour control room to coordinate recovery efforts
  • Perform minor roadside repairs and maintenance on vehicles
  • Transport recovered vehicles to a final destination within a 100km radius
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions and challenging environments
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of driving experience in vehicles 7500KG or above
  • Valid Class 2 Licence and Driver CPC
  • Mechanical knowledge is a preferred advantage
  • Ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with 12-hour shifts
  • Availability for overtime and flexible scheduling
