Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at True Engineers. As a key member of our building services consultancy, you will be responsible for designing mechanical engineering systems at the highest level using the latest software design packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical services design on large projects, ensuring solutions meet regulatory standards and client briefs.
  • Develop initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring technical delivery and project success.
  • Collaborate with clients, produce reports, specifications, and drawings, and deliver successful projects from inception to completion.
  • Monitor fee expenditure, resource, and work delivered, ensuring project efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical knowledge in Mechanical Design Engineering in building services.
  • Solid experience in building services engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
  • Autonomous approach: able to lead projects and take a brief from the project lead on projects and deliver & control the tasks required.
  • Mentor and supervise junior members of staff.
  • Ideally Chartered engineer or working towards.
