About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at SLR Consulting. As an Associate Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering projects and assisting with proposal development. Your responsibilities will include acting as a project manager, lead designer, writing proposals, and managing clients and their interfaces.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with other disciplines across the business, including the Advisory, Environmental Management and Compliance, Land and Water, and Environmental Specialist Services Groups. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality projects and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects and assist with proposal development
  • Act as a project manager and lead designer
  • Write proposals and manage client relationships
  • Lead on projects and mentor and coach other engineers within the team
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
  • Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers or similar
  • Full, current, driving license valid in the UK
  • IT literate, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and MS Project
  • Procurement and specification writing experience
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
