Head Chef for Care Homes

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for planning and preparing meals that meet the nutritional needs of care home residents. As a key member of our culinary team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional meal service and ensure a positive dining experience for all residents.
Responsibilities- Dietary Planning: Create balanced menus that cater to various dietary requirements and preferences.
- Chef Supervision: Mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants to develop their skills and confidence.
- Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment and adhere to strict health and safety protocols.
- Chef Certifications: Possess relevant certifications in food safety, hygiene, and nutrition.
- Experience: Hold at least 12 months of experience as a head chef or senior chef in a similar environment.
- Working Hours: Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
We provide a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as annual leave and professional development opportunities.
