What You'll Gain

Our 15-month training programme will give you hands-on experience across our Nuclear new build sites. You'll rotate through exciting placements, working on real projects that will challenge and develop your skills.

Technical Expertise

You'll have the opportunity to work on a range of technical projects, including reactor physics, fuel modelling, and fault studies. Our experienced mentors will guide you every step of the way, helping you to develop your technical expertise and achieve your career goals.

Professional Development

We're committed to your growth and development, offering a tailored training path to enhance your skills and knowledge. You'll have access to a range of training courses, including nuclear fundamentals, EPR systems, and health and safety.

Accreditation and Recognition

Our scheme is accredited with a number of professional institutions, including the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institute of Physics (IoP). We'll support you to gain chartership with the relevant professional body.

Work Location

Throughout the programme, you'll have the chance to explore a variety of our sites, immersing yourself in the diversity of our business. You'll be based at one of our main locations, including Gloucester Business Park, Hinkley Point C, or Sizewell C.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in nuclear energy, the power generation industry, and technology. You'll need a 2:2 Bachelor's Degree or a 2:2 Postgraduate Degree (obtained or expected) in Engineering, Science, or a related subject. You must also meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
