Mechanical Equipment Specialist

As a Mechanical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. Your primary responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing repairs to minimize downtime.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for reacting to breakdowns, conducting regular inspections, and collaborating with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- React to breakdowns of machines in our workshop.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues promptly.
Person Specification:
You are a proactive and self-motivated individual with good mechanical knowledge and experience. You will also have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with health and safety regulations is essential.
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience. Benefits: 21 days holiday + stats that rise with service, pension contribution, company profit-related bonus, paid overtime is sporadic based on workload / breakdowns, no shift - office hours Monday - Friday.
