Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 3

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with special needs, including those with Educational Healthcare Plans and their families and supporting agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the learning and development of students with Developmental Language Disorders in the Speech and Language resource provision.
  • Work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups.
  • Assist the teacher in the planning, management, and preparation of resources.
  • Supervise the resource provision during the absence of a Lead teacher/Level 4 Teaching Assistant.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with students with special needs, including those with Educational Healthcare Plans.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.
