Job Description

Infinity Employment is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our team on a permanent contract with our Manufacturing specialist client based in the Fareham area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller looking for a new role utilizing Heidenhain machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality components that meet customer expectations and requirements. This includes:

  • Machine Programming
  • Machine Setting
  • Machine Operation
  • In-process Inspection
  • Swarf Management
  • Machine Housekeeping

The ideal candidate will have experience with Heidenhain / Fanuc controls, be able to read drawings, work to tight tolerances, and check components for conformance to drawings. Additionally, they will be able to manufacture jigs and fixtures as required, write setting sheets, and work effectively as part of a team or independently.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Work a 39-hour week
  • Be flexible and able to work unsupervised
  • Communicate effectively at all levels
  • Liaise effectively at all levels
  • Work to deadlines
  • Be organized and able to run two machines where possible

The job package includes:

  • Permanent contract
  • 39-hour week
  • Monday to Friday
  • £19.00 per hour with time and a half after 39 hours for the right candidate
  • £17.00 per hour with time and a half after 39 hours for someone who meets 75%
  • £38,532 per year based on £19 per hour plus overtime
  • £34,476 - £36,504 per year based on £17- £18 per hour plus overtime
  • Overtime available when required
  • 28 days holiday
