The Finance Strategy team at Deliveroo is responsible for driving business growth and profitability. As Chief Financial Strategist for Grocery and Retail, you will lead a high-performing team to achieve this goal.

About the Role

This leadership role is based in London and reports directly to the VP of Finance and Strategy. You will partner with senior leadership to set the strategic direction for the Grocery and Retail business verticals.

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting for the Grocery and Retail division
  • Support project planning and resource allocation across the organization
  • Recruit and develop top finance talent to build a world-class finance and strategy team
  • Develop and implement best-in-class finance business partnering processes and P&L accountability

You will work closely with the leadership team to drive business growth, improve financial performance, and make strategic decisions that drive company success.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in finance, finance business partnering, FP&A, and business strategy functions
  • Core financial and technical skills to guide business decision-making
  • A track record of operating, partnering with, and influencing executive-level partners
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
