About the Role
This maternity cover position involves working in a friendly Psychology team to provide a broad range of psychological services. The North Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) has a growing psychology and therapy team, and you will work under the supervision of experienced colleagues.

Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the job are to provide assessment, formulation, and psychological intervention to service users and carers within the CMHT. You will also provide evidence-based interventions for individuals and, if relevant, also to groups. We especially need to provide trauma-focused therapies, so a strong background in either Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) would be preferable. You'll also help the broader Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) with consultation and training as necessary. There may also be opportunities to take part in quality improvement projects as part of a supportive and dynamic psychology team.
