About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Class 1 Tanker Drivers to join our team at WCF Chandlers. As a key member of our fuel delivery team, you will be responsible for transporting fuel and lubricants to our depots, commercial, and agricultural customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily loading of the vehicle at the designated fuel terminal in line with company and H&S policies and procedures.
  • Deliver fuel and lubricants to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate a keen willingness to meet and satisfy customer needs.
  • Work a 40-hour week during core operating hours, Monday-Friday, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work.
Requirements
  • Minimum HGV License Class 1.
  • ADR including Class 3 in tanks is advantageous, although training can be given.
  • Driver CPC.
  • Good communication skills and a methodical approach to work.
  • Keen attention to detail and good documentation control.
  • Flexibility to meet customer needs, particularly during winter periods.
  • Demonstrable experience of working autonomously and making decisions.
  • Understanding of the importance of Health & Safety in all aspects of the job.
Benefits
  • Minimum salary of £31,512 per annum (based on £15.15 hourly rate).
  • 40 hour working week during core operating hours, Monday-Friday.
  • Overtime available for hours worked in excess of 40, as well as weekend work (when required), paid at an enhanced rate.
