About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Line Manager to lead our production team and drive efficiency and quality in our manufacturing process. As a Production Line Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, motivating, and organizing a team of production staff to ensure that daily production targets are achieved and customer orders are fully satisfied to the highest quality and standards. You will work closely with the production team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Lead, motivate, and organize a team of production staff to achieve daily production targets and customer orders.
- Ensure adherence to company policy and all laws and regulations pertaining to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
- Monitor and record the weights of finished product, class 2, and waste to ensure conformity to required procedures.
- Liaise with the packaging team to ensure that all labels and packaging are on the line and ready to use in good time before the job is ready.
- Ensure that any product produced is verified against the Matrix to ensure packaging, label, and product information is accurate.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience of working within a fast-moving environment within a produce production area.
- Experience of leading a small team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Good practical skills and the ability to work quickly and methodically.
- Excellent team working skills.
- An awareness of Health and Safety.
- A willingness to work flexibly.
