About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves working with children and adolescents who require specialized assessment and treatment for eating disorders and related behavioral or emotional issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to create a person-centered environment
  • Follow risk assessment and management protocols
  • Manage patient treatment plans in collaboration with the team
  • Conduct psychological assessments and prescribe medication
  • Promote cohesion and communication within the team

Requirements

  • Recent acute Psychiatry experience
  • Experience in a similar setting with adults aged 18+
  • Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of Mental Health Legislation and risk assessment principles
