About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Inside Sales Consultant to join our team at Johnson Controls. As an Inside Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for supplying quotes, engaging with customers, and processing orders through to our planning team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make introduction calls to customers to identify needs and close sales
  • Produce quotes to customers using correct pricing tools
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including updates to customers

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with customers to provide a customer-first experience
  • Must be personable, willing to learn, and a team player
  • Ability to work to targets and KPIs, managing own workload
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and internal systems (training will be provided)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in customer-facing roles, such as retail, hospitality, call centers, help desks, sales, and customer services
  • Knowledge or experience in B2B sales or the HVAC and Fire and Security industry would be an advantage
