Clinical Assessment Specialist

As a Functional Specialist, you will be responsible for providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR).
Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
Manage caseloads from end to end, with time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.
Requirements:
Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
1+ years post-qualification experience.
Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
What We Offer:
Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500.
5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality and retention bonus.
OTE: £45,650.
Hybrid full-time and part-time working hours available.
Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week).
25 days' holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service.

This is an exciting hybrid working opportunity for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a leading, multi-national employer.
