About the Position

We are recruiting a Young People's Welfare Officer to join our team at InFocus, a specialist further education college.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our young people with vision impairment and additional complex needs, enabling them to access our specially designed curriculum and develop essential life skills.

This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other stakeholders.

The working pattern for this position is 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 16:30.

As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with therapists, nurses, and mobility specialists to provide holistic support to our young people.

In addition to a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, we offer a range of benefits, including six weeks' annual leave, occupational sick pay scheme, paid medical appointments, and comprehensive training and development opportunities.
