Job Description

Role: Export Customs Supervisor

Contract: Permanent

We are a leading global logistics provider, delivering over 83 million shipments annually. Our company combines and integrates the world's most intelligent logistics network capabilities, keeping the global economy running today and tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a quality service is provided to all customers using various export clearance methods.
  • Integrate new team members effectively and optimize individual performance through process review and refinement.
  • Continuously review processes to achieve efficiencies without compromising service level and/or quality of work.
  • Produce, analyze, and manage Key Performance Indicators for customs activities, ensuring targets are met.
  • Liaise with export supervisors from other shifts to ensure a seamless handover and effective completion of overall workload.
  • Direct liaison with Head Office regarding customs matters when necessary.
  • Promote Dachser values in team work ethic.
  • Ensure Dachser Health and Safety policy, processes, procedures, and other mandatory processes are maintained, reviewed, and effectively managed.
  • Working knowledge of and familiarity with UK CDS system and proprietary software systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook programs and ASM Sequoia.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, adapting style and language to suit customer, department, or level.
  • A high customer service orientation with a passion for delivering quality.
