About the Role: As a Residential Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our residential children's home. This is a full-time permanent role offering a competitive salary of £50,000.

You will oversee the management of the service to meet and exceed regulatory and organisational standards. You will also lead the registration process with Ofsted to secure full operational approval for the home.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the daily operations of the children's home, including supervising, mentoring, and appraising staff to ensure effective service delivery and professional development.
• Ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015, safeguarding policies, and other relevant legislation.
• Addressing and implementing recommendations from inspections and Regulation 44 reports within required timeframes.
• Preparing detailed written reports for reviews, case conferences, and other formal meetings, ensuring actions are implemented promptly.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Home Manager, Care Manager, Children's Home manager or in a similar role.
• 2 years of experience managing a children's home.
• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
