Job Title: Part Time Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide support for a young man with learning disabilities and mild physical disabilities.

The successful candidate will work in a small team to provide support and assistance with daily living activities, therapies, and personal care. The individual will be responsible for helping the client to achieve independent living and participate in activities such as music, cooking, and walking his dog.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in care and with individuals who may present challenging behaviors. Full training and support will be provided to ensure the candidate feels confident and equipped to perform the role.

The role requires a full clean driving license, as the candidate will be required to drive the client's vehicle. The successful candidate will also be required to write detailed notes on a daily basis.

The working hours for this role are 14 hours per week, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts. The rate of pay is £14.00 per hour for weekdays and £15.00 per hour for weekends.

Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance with daily living activities
  • Help the client to achieve independent living
  • Participate in activities such as music, cooking, and walking the dog
  • Write detailed notes on a daily basis
  • Drive the client's vehicle

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in care and with individuals who may present challenging behaviors

Working Hours:

14 hours per week, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts

Rate of Pay:

£14.00 per hour for weekdays and £15.00 per hour for weekends
