Consultant Psychiatrist for Adult Eating Disorders

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at the South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, care, and treatment of adults with eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, care, and treatment of adults with eating disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure high-quality care and service delivery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement service development initiatives
- Provide education and training to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals
- Primary Medical degree and full GMC registration
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
- General Adult Psychiatry or eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Registrar within three months of completing CCT
- Section approval of the Mental Health Act
- Talking therapy skills, such as CBT, DBT, or MBT
- Management and service development skills
This is a full-time permanent position, and the successful candidate will be based at Avalon Ward, Trinity Building, Springfield Hospital, London. The salary will be in the range of £105,504 to £139,882 per annum, plus London zone allowance.
