Main Responsibilities:- Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to adults with sickle cell disease or thalassaemia, including neuropsychological assessment and cognitive behavioural therapy.
- Work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct, taking responsibility for own work and treatment decisions.
- Provide operational line management and clinical supervision to junior psychologists.
- Entry-level qualification in Applied Psychology, accepted by the HCPC for professional registration.
- Additional training in a specialised area of psychological practice, such as clinical supervision or cognitive behavioural therapy.
- Registered with the HCPC as Practitioner Psychologist, with evidence of continuing professional development.
