About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Inquests Lawyer with 3+ years PQE to join a top defendant firm in Liverpool. As a Healthcare Inquests Lawyer, you will handle your own caseload of inquest files on behalf of insurer clients, including the NHS and care homes. You may also be involved in broader healthcare advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle your own caseload of inquest files, including attending inquest hearings in court and providing advocacy at pre-inquest review hearings and inquests.
  • Advise on a range of health and care-related issues.
  • Travel to attend courts on short notice.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with 3+ years PQE.
  • Essential advocacy experience.
  • Desirable experience in Court of Protection, Mental Health, Regulatory defence work, Healthcare, and Inquests.
  • Excellent soft skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a successful team.
