Are you a motivated and empathetic individual looking for a rewarding career in education? We are seeking a dedicated Assistant for Children with Complex Needs to join our team at Academics in the Waterlooville area of Hampshire.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing full-time support to pupils with complex learning difficulties, including personal hygiene and feeding duties. They must possess excellent behaviour management skills and remain calm under pressure, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.

To succeed in this role, applicants should have recent experience supporting in a school setting, ideally within an SEN school. A childcare/education related qualification, such as CACHE3/NVQ3 in Childcare or care, would be advantageous. Additionally, the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

A competitive salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum is on offer, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting the education and well-being of our students.
