Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is proud to present an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Bristol. As a leading engineering consultancy, they specialize in building services and are renowned for their innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a talented team of engineers to deliver high-quality projects across various sectors, including education, science, healthcare, and commercial.
  • Design and develop mechanical engineering systems using the latest software packages, including AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring solutions meet the brief and regulatory standards.
  • Take ownership of technical delivery, either individually or as part of a team, and provide guidance to junior staff to ensure their skills development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors, identifying opportunities for innovation and research.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent in building services engineering.
  • Experience with recognized design software tools, such as REVIT, and exposure to MagiCAD.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to both external parties and clients, as well as within the team.
  • Ability to manage project needs and deliver full project scope.
  • Recognized qualifications in Mechanical services design and a commitment to Chartered Status.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver projects.
  • Desirable: experience in people management and future flexibility for regular cooperation, travel, and inter-office working.
