About the Role:

As a Head Housekeeper at HC-One, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our care homes. You will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff, managing the cleaning schedule, and maintaining a spotless environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of housekeeping staff to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the care home
  • Manage the cleaning schedule, including planning and coordinating cleaning tasks
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and replenished as needed
  • Develop and implement procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless delivery of care and services
  • Monitor and report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control procedures
