Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's manufacturing facility based near Burton on Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a Dupont-style shift pattern, which includes 2 nights and 3 nights shifts.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You will undertake a variety of engineering tasks, including routine maintenance activities, fault finding, and defect rectification.

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of mechanical engineering, including hydraulics and pneumatics. Experience in mechanical fitting and a good understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety issues are also essential. You will be responsible for contributing to the overall safe operation of plant and equipment, safety, quality, waste, and OEE targets.
