Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Nursery Supervisor to join our team at Little Bears Nursery. As a key member of the management staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our nursery rooms and providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to develop and learn.

Responsibilities
As a Nursery Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
  1. Managing the day-to-day operations of the nursery room, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  2. Supervising and guiding the room's staff, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
  3. Developing and implementing engaging activities and programs that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  4. Collaborating with colleagues to plan and organize events, workshops, and training sessions for parents and staff.
  5. Maintaining accurate records and reports on children's progress, ensuring effective communication with parents and guardians.


Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
  • A minimum NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar position, preferably in an Early Years setting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.


What We Offer
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
