**Become an Expert in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance**
Are you passionate about working with trucks, buses, and heavy vehicles? Do you enjoy solving mechanical challenges and want to turn that passion into a career? At Hgvtraders, we are looking for ambitious individuals who want to play a role in shaping the future of transport solutions.
We offer a comprehensive apprenticeship program that blends classroom learning with hands-on experience. Our team will provide you with the necessary equipment and tools to support your journey as a technician. You will work side-by-side with experienced technicians, learning to repair, service, MOT, and maintain modern trucks, buses, and coaches – including hybrid technology.
Our training is delivered in the workplace and on block release at Remit's dedicated Heavy Vehicle Academy in Derby. The costs for accommodation, food, and travel are met by us, so you won't incur any expenses. As part of our team, you'll also receive a competitive salary of £60 per hour (£11,520 per year), plus opportunities for career advancement within the Volvo Group.
To be eligible for this role, you'll need a basic understanding of mechanical systems and a passion for learning. Candidates with grade 4 GCSE or above in English and Maths are preferred. We value diversity and inclusivity, offering a safe and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
