Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Associate Actuarial Consultant to join our Corebridge Actuarial Modernization team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining actuarial models, ensuring their accuracy and reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and maintenance of actuarial models, including creating and updating spreadsheets and programs to replicate model functionality.
- Collaborate with the actuarial control team, model production team, and IT team to ensure seamless integration and testing of models.
- Support the validation and certification of actuarial models, including executing test plans and reviewing data transformation processes.
- Work closely with model owners to address internal and external questions, and ensure that all steps of the testing process are fully documented.
- Provide analysis and support for ad hoc requests and model change impact analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, or related fields.
- ASA with a minimum of 5 years of experience post-ASA, with FSA strongly preferred.
- Experience with Moody's AXIS and reinsurance regulation is highly desirable.
- Strong programming and data analytics skills, with proficiency in SQL, VBA, or C++.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
