Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Carbon60 - Eng&Tech. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for conducting scheduled physical inspections, carrying out operational Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks, and communicating clear instructions to MBT operatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled physical inspections to ensure compliance with company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) procedures
  • Carry out operational PPM checks and report findings to the shift supervisor and maintenance supervisor
  • Communicate clear instructions and information to MBT operatives to support operations and high emphasis will be placed on the plant availability and the performance of the biological process
  • Record all defects and findings accordingly and assist with KPI data entry
  • Provide line management with specialist knowledge and hands-on expertise in rectifying and preventing problems such as equipment failure, material blockages and biological process inefficiencies
  • Prepare both facilities for daily operation and carry out necessary pre-start equipment checks in conjunction with the shift supervisor

Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn waste separation equipment is essential
  • Higher education or equivalent is desirable
  • A strong communicator, with leadership skills/experience
  • Technically minded with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience of leading people is preferred
