Maintenance Handyperson/Multi-Trader

Atrium Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Handyperson/Multi-Trader to join their team in Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, minor repairs to locks and windows, shelving installation, boxing in services, and small-scale decorating projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to assist with routine tasks such as fire alarm and emergency light testing, as well as L8 compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and work independently to complete tasks to a high standard.
  • Use a mobile tablet for completing reports, receiving, and sending emails.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in building maintenance or as a handyman, ideally in a live environment.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage workloads with minimal supervision.
  • Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on tasks.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in a construction-related trade would be advantageous but is not essential.
