About the Role

The Project Management Assistant will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning tasks throughout the contract lifecycle. This position ensures that all activities align with the overall project timeline while adhering to safety, quality, and budgetary standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outline the work scope for the contract or project segment and manage interactions with other program components.
  • Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and implement project strategies within their designated area.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of the List of Deliverables (LOD) associated with the project scope.
  • Assist in acquiring necessary resources to fulfill project demands, ensuring the maintenance of qualified personnel and addressing any team shortfalls.
  • Develop, manage, and revise project and program plans in collaboration with the project controls team, including cost analysis, work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Oversee change control processes as project scopes evolve, ensuring proper documentation and configuration management.
  • Recognize the importance of project baseline management and various types of baseline modifications.
  • Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) principles effectively.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess knowledge in the following areas:

  • Project management methodologies and tools
  • Planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
  • Cost management software like SAP
  • Risk management tools including ARM, EcoSys, @risk, and Safran
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Microsoft Office Suite
