Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Administrator to join our team at Kenton Black Ltd. As an integral part of our finance department, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and other financial tasks. This will include entering and validating distributor invoices, processing bank transfers, allocating payments, working out commission due, reconciling distributor accounts, checking purchase orders for correct GL codes, matching invoices against receipts, entering and validating supplier invoices, processing fixed assets, making BACS and cheque payments, reconciling supplier accounts, posting journal entries, analyzing variances, handling ad hoc queries, and performing general administration duties.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have a good basic standard of education with GCSE passes at grade A* to C in Mathematics and English or an equivalent NVQ (BTEC) level 2 qualification in a business/finance discipline. Preferably, you should possess a finance/accountancy-based qualification and have a demonstrated track record of 2+ years of experience in a similar role within an accounting function. You must also be IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel or equivalent software, able to prioritize workload in a busy and demanding role while adhering to strict time-bound deadlines, work efficiently and accurately, be highly motivated, and possess good interpersonal, communication, and literacy skills.

Benefits:
This is a full-time position offering a competitive starting salary of £35,000 depending on experience, a 35 hour working week with flexibility on working arrangements, 24 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays, private healthcare, 4% employer pension contribution, catering facilities, free tea/coffee, and free parking on site.
