Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join our team at Jarvis Johnson. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for implementing our technical and quality strategy to ensure our site is always audit ready.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead our technical team to deliver the site business plan and develop and implement the site food safety plan.
• Maintain high standards of food safety/ quality, health & safety and environment.
• Manage and oversee technical related budgets and financial planning.
• Conduct incident investigations, including risk assessments.
• Support independent audits across the company.

Requirements:

• Experienced Technical Manager with a science-based degree or diploma.
• Chilled food manufacturing experience is essential.
• In-depth understanding of micro and associated hygiene practices (food handling, cleaning & disinfection etc).
• Experience working with multiple retailers.
• Level 3 Food hygiene and Level 4 HACCP.
• Ideally a driving license.
